The first of this year's RSSA summer visits will be to Selex ES Ltd, a subsidiary of Leonardo-Finmeccania, located at 2 Crewe Road North. (If travelling by taxi, just ask the taxi driver for Ferranti!)

The main business of Selex ES Ltd is the manufacture of electronic equipment for airborne and aerospace systems, land and Naval defence electronics and security and information systems. (For further details "Google" Selex ES Edinburgh)

The visit will commence at 5pm on Wednesday June 15th and will provide an opportunity to see some of the specialised electronic components being manufactured in the specialised clean room facilities.
