Minutes of the Annual General Meeting and 8th Meeting of the 195th Session on Monday 6th June 2016 at 7pm in the Augustine Church, Edinburgh

1. Apologies for Absence
   Professor John Brown, Dr Richard Burtles, Professor James Floyd, Valerie Inglis, Dr Richard Kimberlin, Dr Alison Morrison-Low, Neil Short, Mr Douglas Stewart, Ms Jean Tennant, Dr Michael Topping
2. Minutes of the AGM held on Monday 25th May 2015
   These were proposed to be correct by Professor Ian Robson and seconded by Dr Beverly Bergman.
3. Presentation of Annual Report of the Council for year ended 30th September 2015 by the treasurer, Mr Graham Rule
4. President’s Report
   The President reported on the activities in the 193rd Session of the Society. Mr Robert Reekie was presented with a certificate of Life Fellowship in recognition of his services to Council over 16 years.
5. Election of Officers
   Dr Beverly Bergman was proposed by Council as a Vice President and Dr Peredur Williams as a Councillor and this was agreed unanimously by a show of hands.

There being no other competent business, the President closed the meeting and Fellows proceeded to the social part of the evening.
